Fuquay-Varina--Callie Baker Cotten, 71, died Friday. Funeral 2:00 p.m. Monday at Sugg Funeral Chapel. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.
Surviving: husband, John Henry Cotten; daughter, Sheila Ree Cotten and husband Bo Duncan of Baltimore, MD; son, Melvin Henry Cotten and wife Estelle Fay Cotton of Columbia, MO; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Berlena B. Seagroves of Fuquay-Varina and Clara Baker of Sanford; brother, Wilbur Baker of Sanford.
Mrs. Cotten was preceded in death by her brother J.C. Baker.
The family will receive friends 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. today at Sugg Funeral Home and at other times at the family home, 110-C Youngwood St., Fuquay-Varina.
