Essie B. Salmon
Died: 11-30-2000 Essie Black Salmon, 87, of Lillington, a native of Harnett County, died Thursday at her home. She was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Salmon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday at 3 P.M. at Ephesus Presbyterian Church by the Rev. Bertrand Pitchford. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn Welborn of Lillington; sons, Carl Salmon of Sanford, and Don Salmon and Mike Salmon, both of Lillington; a brother, Alvis Black of Spring Lake; three grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
The family will receive friends tonight from 6 to 8 at O'Quinn-Peebles Funeral Home in Lillington and other times at the home of Lloyd and Carolyn Welborn.
Memorials may be made to Ephesus Presbyterian Church, 530 Peach Farm Road, Lillington, N.C. 27546.
