  [Murchison Tree] John Murchison was buried in the Mill Place Cemetery according to the Argyle Colony Plus, Vol 6. No. 3 in an article called Mill Place Cemetery by Glenn McGugan. He died 28 Jul 1826 at age 39. John Murchison apparently died before 1835 as he was listed as deceased in his fathers will dated 12-31-1835. John Murchison is buried in The Murchison Cemetery located on the banks of the Upper Little River on North Carolina Highway 210 three miles south of Lillington in Harnett County, North Carolina, his tomb stone reads John Murchison Died - July 28, 1826 aged 39 years, according to "Murchison cemetery, Harnett County, N. C. by Hilda J Roberts of 305 Grime Road, Washington, N. C. 27889. John Murchison was married to Janet McLean in Cumberland County, North Carolina on the 9th day of January 1821 according to Hunting for Bears Genealogy Society.
